What achievements have you made in helping others?

I've worked/volunteered with many agencies and individuals both in the Autism spectrum, services for seniors, mental health, disabilities and literacy.

What do you consider to be important traits in helping others?

Honoring their unique needs and personality. Using your talents and skills where they are most needed and helpful.

What do you consider to be today's greatest issue that is in need of attention?

I think there are many but all revolve around being isolated by health, circumstance or world events

Tell us about yourself...

I'm a mother (of 3), a singer/songwriter, musician and music teacher with a community relations background. I am currently working on a special project called Kaleidoscope Ride with my daughter (who has high functioning Autism). The project is all about celebrating abilities and "possibilities" and our goal is to provide a lift to families and individuals with ASD. I currently work full time as a musician, performing, teaching guitar/vocals/band, doing special needs recreation music sessions and our project activities.
