What achievements have you made in helping others?
I have assisted countless individuals on their life path over the years in areas of self-healing, self empowerment and resolving life issues. I also created an online resource for people with eating disorders as a stepping stone to get help at a time when this was limited. Self help tools have been added because many people are unable to afford therapeutic help to assist their need.
What do you consider to be important traits in helping others?
To let people have their own process and allow them to heal in their own time. In this we can give the tools and knowledge, enabling them with resources. This will be more affective in the long term. Almost like teaching someone to fish instead of giving them the fish to eat.
What do you consider to be today's greatest issue that is in need of attention?
Emotional healing and people being allowed to express their true selves. Too many are being influenced and mislead by external factors, including government etc. I have also witnessed first hand double whammy of legal corruption in UK and met total resistance to address wrongs and punishments being carried out, despite evidence presented several times. It is time for individuals to be empowered and to realise they have far more personal potential - if they could just shift their awareness.
Would you like to contribute a possible solution to this issue? If yes, please explain.
I am in the process of working on a few projects and also writing. Hopefully my efforts will impact a greater audience and reinforce that we need to listen to our inner self and trust this before we are keen to trust an external influence.
Tell us about yourself...
I am spiritually inclined and still growing as a person. My life has been one that brought questions of our potential from a young age. My mother became paralyzed from the neck downwards when I was 12 years old and I was interested to know about the mind, body and emotional connection back from that time. I discovered many people with such disabilities thought their life was over...and reminded those who confided in me - even though they might have certain limitations they are still a person with feelings who can give and receive love and guidance. Still in early years I discoverd how when a part of our being is supressed or unable to be effective, another aspect of our self will compensate. For example - someone who is very quiet and insecure, might have artistic, musical or writing skills and express theirselves in a creative way. The mind is a powerful tool that can be harnessed and used beyond what we known and in a productive way. As a small child I wanted to help people...and see how even in my teenage years adults would confide with their problems. It is interesting how I knew this was my path long before my mothers car accident. Much later, when time allowed, I undertook professional training for credibility and even now, many lessons continue to open my eyes to have greater awareness and understanding of the complexity of who we are. This all assists my journey and helping other people on theirs.
