What achievements have you made in helping others?
I have helped several people get their start in the entertainment and fashion industries. I also am in the process of starting up my own consulting firm to hepl the aspiring talent break in to the biz. I also own NW Young Actors Group, which is designed to unite all of the working kids from Seattle to Salem in a way that has never been done before. We will do charity events as a way to give back to the community and hold a weekend getaway for them to get together and have fun and get to know eachother off the set.
What do you consider to be important traits in helping others?
I believe that you really need to have a passion for doing the right thing. In the entertainment industry you need to know your buisness and really know your talent. I believe that the most important thing is morals and values, you need to lead by example.
What do you consider to be today's greatest issue that is in need of attention?
Because I work with children I tend to focus alot on the issues that surround them. I think that the children of today tend to be too grown up in a society where they are flooded with media that suggests that boys should have girlfriends (at a young age 8 yrs old) and the same with girls they want to be grown up and I believe that we need to get the message out that being a kid is not about being a "mini" adult. I also believe that on average by the age of 16 they have not learned the work ethic that will be essential to their careers. I see too many kids that have eveything handed to them and they do not have to work for anything, this is not healthy for the child. I think that we need to teach our kids that life takes hard work and that nothing in life is free.
Tell us about yourself...
I began working in the entertainment and fashion industries when I was 14. I knew at a young age that this is where I was meant to be. I have worked over the years and now am starting a new phase in my life as a consultant and manager, as well as supporting the young actors of the Pacific Northwest and teaching them to use the gifts and blessings that they have to give back to thoes in need.
