Mobile Technology for Social Change

What else...
What do you consider to be today's greatest issue that is in need of attention?
Global society needs to look for some coherence...
As an example, I'm working on the line of "Social Software": learning to make a cybernetic use of socioeconomic powerful tools against poverty:
- International cooperation, global conscience.
- “New” tourisms: ecotourism, cultural tourism, scientific tourism, cooperation tourism, business tourism, venture tourism, outdoor & gliding sports tourism, ethical & fair tourism.
- Internet 2.0 & Cybernetics: integrating people, information, work & technology (intercultural, transversal & permanent feedback).
- High Performance Working Systems & Creative Management (Harvard, MIT)
- Public Relations & Marketing 2.0.
Would you like to contribute a possible solution to this issue? If yes, please explain.
Empowering transborder colaboration for Codevelopment 2.0, taking full advantage of Open Source Networking methods for International Cooperation & Fair Tourism.

Turismo y Cooperación 2.0 IN ENGLISH HERE

Tourism 2.0 Ecosystem by Edu William "The social Web as a platform to develop a knowledge-based ecosystem"

Introducing "ICTs & Ecotourism 2.0 Networks" in the Forum "Developing african eco-sustainable tourism: National Parks", Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (17-18/06/2008)

I'm glad to inform of this interesting event organized by Casa Africa of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (17-18/06/2008).

Harold Goodwin, Director of Responsible Tourism International Centre of Leeds University will open the forum, followed by experts from Senegal, South Africa, Benin, Ivory Cost, Mauritania, Guinee Bissau...
Please feel free to see the program click here, you will probably notice that 2.0 is not at the order of the day... But this is what we are for ;)
Actually, due to a last minute change, I will substitute Nuria El Khadir Palomo, so obviously I'll talk about "Information Technologies & Ecotourism 2.0 Networks"

Let's take advantage of this post to launch a kind of qualitative study:
"What do you think about Fair Tourism?"
How Fair is it in your opinion?
Do you see it as a pertinent solution to fight against poverty?
Or do you think it will actually bring more problems (environement, social, culture, etc.) than solutions?

Tourism is actually taking a growing part of developing countries exports, as you can see in this WTO Report: "Tourism & Poverty Alleviation"
What do you think?

Kind regards

Btw, I love that quote: "No one knows everything, everybody knows something. All knowledge resides in Networks. (Somebody from www)"

Well, "Leaving comments (on a blog) is not blogging"... I'm not sure to understand but you're probably right.
Peace
